About
About HVAC Nation
HVAC Nation is a referral service. It does not employ HVAC technicians and does not perform heating or cooling work.
How it works
When you call the number on this site, your call is routed to an independent HVAC contractor who serves your area, subject to availability. That provider talks with you about the problem, decides whether and when they can help, and sets the scope and terms of any work directly with you.
What the site covers
The site has 15 service pages and 207 city pages in 38 states. Service pages explain one topic each: what it involves, common signs and sensible first steps. City pages add local housing and climate context from public Census and NOAA data.
What it does not do
- It does not perform, supervise or warrant any work.
- It does not set or collect charges for work.
- It does not cover duct cleaning, window air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality products or commercial HVAC.
Before hiring
Ask the provider about their license and insurance for your state and city, permits for the job, and the scope of work in writing before work begins.
Your call is connected to an independent HVAC contractor, subject to availability in your area. HVAC Nation may receive compensation when your call is connected with a participating provider. Providers are independent businesses.
